Lifting Handle

One of a set of three handles, matching the pattern of A196 and A197. This version is a large lifting or carrying handle having 2 screw holes in each backplate for surface mounting. The originals for these handles probably date from the 1750’s. NB This handle DOES have a slightly asymmetrical appearance as seen in the image here.
