Edwardian Period 1901 - 1914

Throughout history, furniture hardware styles evolved gradually rather than changing instantly between periods. New designs would often begin in cities such as London before slowly spreading across the country, sometimes taking years to reach regional craftsmen and workshops. Because of this, styles and influences often overlapped between periods.

Inspired by early 20th-century interiors, our Edwardian hardware collection reflects the lighter and more refined styling associated with the Edwardian period. Designs from this era often moved away from the heavier ornamentation of the Victorian age, favouring elegant proportions, delicate detailing, and understated craftsmanship.
