Copied from an 18th century original, A171 is a swan neck handle with round turned edged backplates.  Fixed with two turned headed posts with thread and nut fittings. The posts are now available with a modern steel thread and nut as an alternative to the traditional thread (copied directly from the period original).  The modern steel alternative makes installation easier if using in a kitchen, study or other interior design application.
