Meet the Team Click on the images below meet the team at Optimum Brasses: Nick Nick has been with Optimum Brasses for since 2013, having taken on the role of Managing Director in 2016 it's Nick's job to keep things running smoothly. Nick joined the company following 23 years service in the Army Air Corps, he still plays a big part in the armed forces community, as the chairman of Tiverton's Royal British Legion and a member of many veterans groups.When he's got a bit of down time, Nick likes to spend it relaxing with his nearest and dearest. Chelsea Chell is our very talented Antique Ageing Specialist here at Optimum. It's her job to give our pieces that 'antique finish'. On top of her fabulous finishing work, Chell also processes orders and helps out around the office.In her spare time, Chel loves to travel; seeing new places, having new experiences and making memories! When she's not globe trotting you'll find her spending time with her loved ones. Helen Helen is our Administrator, if you've got a question or want to place an order, she's your lady! The best part is, our customers are always telling us how helpful and friendly she is!Helen is a big music fan, she especially loves the 70s & 80s vibe. When she's not at work Helen likes to spend time with friends and family, and of course, attend the odd music event or two! Brad Brad is our workshop manager, he's highly skilled in assembly and polishing. He ensures all the work coming out of the workshop is completed to the highest standard.Brad is a big music fan but as well as his love for music he also enjoys competitive gaming on his PS4 and travelling (sampling world beers on route, of course). Stef Stef - Tasked with pulling us (NOT kicking and screaming we would like to add) into the 21st Century and the world of social media! She is also responsible for creating our Kitchen and Home Hardware catalogue, with many more redesigned supplements to follow.If there's one word that people associate with Stef, it is definitely the word... CHIHUAHUA. Her two Chihuahua's, Princess Jasmine and Bruno, are her babies. Spare time is family time, with her husband, Jasmine and Bruno, reserved for walks on Dartmoor and snuggles on the sofa. Of course she loves all the usual things too, spending time with friends, socialising, eating out etc but you probably all know the quote... 'If my dogs can't come, I'm not going'. Dean Now, where would be without Dean AKA the Brass Whisperer? Dean is responsible for fabricating, assembling, fixing and refurbishment of brass fixtures and fittings, he's our magic pair of hands in the workshop!Dean is a busy and talented guy, when he's not working for Optimum, you'll find him in his own workshop making the finest quality reproduction orreries, armillary spheres and cross clocks. When he's had enough of work, you'll find Dean exploring the beautiful Devon and Cornwall countryside and of course sampling the food and drink in the lovely country pubs! When he's not out walking, he enjoys fishing (catch and release) along the North Coast. David David joined Optimum Brasses in 2019, he’s part of our hard working workshop team and has a very ‘hands on role’ polishing and finishing the brassware.Outside of work David likes spending time with friends, having a game of pool. To keep fit, he walks 3 miles everyday! Sue Sue is a very important person… she pays us all!! As well as making sure our bank accounts are kept topped up, Sue also deals with any financial & HR admin.Sue prides herself on being a family lady and animal lover, she has two children and a lovely dog named Arthur, who never runs out of energy. When she has some time to herself she loves to watch movies and spend time with her daughter doing beauty treatments.
